6. Content and Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content for transcription purposes only.

Voice and likeness. Certain features (such as voice-matched dubbing) analyze and temporarily synthesize the voices of speakers in your content to produce translated audio. You represent that you own the rights to, or have obtained the necessary consent from, every speaker whose voice appears in content you upload. Voice models created for dubbing are ephemeral: they are generated solely to render your requested output and are deleted immediately afterward. You may not use these features to impersonate any person or to create misleading content.

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Multitude Media, LLC and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the Service, to understand our practices.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance or updates.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Multitude Media, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues.

10. Affiliate Program & Founding-Affiliate Offer

Participation in the Skryber Affiliate Program is subject to approval and to these terms. By applying you represent that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement.

  • Commissions are earned only on valid, paid subscriptions from customers you refer, tracked via your referral link/cookie, and are subject to a 30-day hold period before becoming payable. No commission is earned on free signups, chargebacks, refunds, fraudulent, or self-referred transactions.
  • Founding-affiliate offer: a one-time promotional coupon for one (1) free month of Skryber Premium, limited to the first twenty (20) approved founding affiliates while supplies last. The coupon is single-use, one per person and household, non-transferable, has no cash value, cannot be combined with other offers, and applies to a new Premium subscription only.
  • Conduct: you agree to comply with all applicable laws, including the U.S. FTC endorsement guidelines and equivalent regulations, and to clearly disclose your affiliate relationship. You may not engage in spam, misleading or deceptive claims, trademark bidding on Skryber marks, cookie stuffing, incentivized clicks, or self-referrals.
  • Payments are made monthly via PayPal to the address you provide, subject to a minimum payout threshold and your provision of any required tax information.
  • Changes & termination: Multitude Media, LLC may modify commission rates, modify or discontinue the founding-affiliate offer, or suspend or terminate your participation and withhold unpaid commissions at any time for any violation of these terms, in each case at its sole discretion.
  • Skryber is not responsible for lost, delayed, or misapplied coupons, and reserves the right to void coupons obtained through fraud or ineligible means.

11. Clipping Campaigns (Whop Integration)

11.1 Third-Party Marketplace. Skryber lets you discover and participate in content campaigns ("bounties") listed on Whop, a third-party marketplace operated by Whop Inc. Skryber is not a party to any bounty, campaign, or agreement between you and Whop or a campaign poster. Campaign terms, eligibility rules, rewards, review, approval, and payment are set and administered entirely by Whop and the campaign poster, under Whop's own Terms of Service, which you must accept separately when you connect your Whop account. Skryber does not guarantee that any campaign is legitimate, that your entry will be accepted or reviewed, or that you will be paid.

11.2 Submissions Are Final. When you use the "Submit to Whop" feature, you authorize Skryber to transmit your entry — the exact links and caption shown to you in the submission preview — to Whop on your behalf, using the Whop account you connected. You acknowledge that: (a) campaign spots are finite and your submission may consume one; (b) once sent, a submission cannot be withdrawn, edited, or reversed through Skryber; and (c) Skryber sends only what you reviewed and confirmed, and will refuse to send if the entry changed after your confirmation. If Skryber cannot confirm whether a submission reached Whop (for example, due to a network failure), you agree to check the campaign on Whop before retrying, and Skryber is not responsible for spots consumed by submissions you re-send.

11.3 Your Warranties. For every post URL you record or submit through Skryber, you represent and warrant that: (a) you published or control the post; (b) the content is yours to submit and does not infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights; (c) the content and your participation comply with applicable law, the rules of the platform where you published, the campaign's stated requirements, and all applicable advertising-disclosure requirements (including clearly disclosing material connections, e.g. "#ad", where required by the FTC or equivalent local rules); and (d) the post will remain publicly accessible for as long as the campaign requires.

11.4 Evidence Is Your Representation. URLs you record as "publication evidence" are your own statements, not Skryber's. Labels such as "recorded", "Creator Provided", or "format valid" mean only what they say: Skryber has recorded the link and, at most, checked its format or reachability. Skryber does not verify ownership, campaign eligibility, view counts, or acceptance by Whop, and a recorded URL is not a submission or an approval. You are responsible for the accuracy of every URL you provide, and providing URLs for posts you do not control is a violation of these Terms.

11.5 Earnings and Taxes. Any payout for a campaign is made by Whop or the campaign poster, on their terms and their schedule. Skryber never holds, transmits, or processes campaign funds, takes no commission on campaign rewards, and has no visibility into or responsibility for payment amounts, timing, or disputes. You are solely responsible for reporting and paying any taxes on amounts you earn through campaigns. Reward figures displayed in Skryber are the campaign's stated reward per approved submission as reported by Whop's API, not a promise of earnings.

11.6 Whop API Availability. Campaign discovery, submission, and status information depend on Whop's API. Skryber is not liable for losses caused by Whop API changes, outages, rate limits, data inaccuracies, campaign closures, or the suspension or termination of the integration or of your Whop account. Skryber may modify, limit, or discontinue the Whop integration at any time. Campaign data shown in Skryber may be delayed or stale; the campaign page on Whop is authoritative.

11.7 Account Connection. Connecting Whop uses Whop's OAuth flow; Skryber never sees your Whop password. You grant Skryber the scopes shown on Whop's consent screen (basic profile, campaign feed access, and — where enabled — submission creation). Skryber stores your access and refresh tokens encrypted and uses them only to operate the features described in this Section. You can disconnect at any time from Skryber, which revokes Skryber's stored credentials; you can also revoke access from your Whop account settings. Disconnecting does not delete submissions already made or unwind campaign participation.

12. Communities (Clipperverse)

Clipperverse lets you create and join communities inside Skryber and post content to a shared feed. These terms apply in addition to the rest of this agreement.

12.1 Your content stays yours

You keep ownership of everything you post. By posting to a community you grant Skryber a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, store, reproduce and display that content for the purpose of operating the service — showing it to that community's members, generating thumbnails and previews, and keeping backups. This licence exists so we can run the product; it does not let us sell your content or license it onward. It ends when you delete the content, except for copies already made in routine backups and any copy we must retain to comply with law or to resolve a dispute.

12.2 What you may not post

You are responsible for what you post. Do not post content that is unlawful; that harasses, threatens or incites violence against anyone; that is sexual content involving minors or non-consensual sexual content; that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or other rights; that contains malware; or that impersonates another person or brand. Do not post someone else's private information without their consent.

12.3 Reporting and moderation

Any member can report a post. Reporting does not automatically remove it — reports are reviewed by a person. Community owners can remove posts in their own community; Skryber can remove content, suspend a community, or terminate an account anywhere on the service where we believe these terms have been broken or where the law requires it. Removed posts are hidden rather than erased, so a decision can be reviewed.

12.4 Copyright complaints

If you believe content on Skryber infringes your copyright, contact us at support@skryber.com with a description of the work, the location of the material, your contact details, and a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised. We remove infringing material and may terminate repeat infringers.

12.5 Communities are run by their owners

A community owner sets its rules, approves members and moderates its feed. Skryber is not a party to any arrangement between a community and its members, and does not endorse or verify what a community claims. Owners cannot charge for access today; if paid communities become available, the terms for them will be set out separately before any payment is taken.

12.6 Availability of your posts

A post that references a Skryber render depends on that render still existing. Clips are subject to the retention periods described elsewhere in these terms, so a post may remain while its attached video no longer plays. Leaving a community, or having your access removed, does not delete posts you have already made.

13. Refund Policy

  • Pay-per-use credits are non-refundable once purchased
  • Monthly subscriptions may be cancelled at any time; no partial refunds
  • Yearly subscriptions may be cancelled with pro-rated refunds within 30 days
  • Free plan users are not eligible for refunds

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or through your account settings.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
